About Us

Hi there!

My name is Kathy Helgeland and I am the owner of Sure Exposure. We are a small, locally owned, family-run business that has been operating since 2008. We originally opened as a Men’s & Boy’s only clothing store, since as a Mom of 3 growing boys, I was tired of constantly having to drive into the bigger cities to keep them clothed! In 2016, we expanded into Ladies & Girls’ clothing, and have loved being able to keep our local families well dressed!

My husband Darrell and I have three amazing sons who now have families of their own. Our oldest son, Dylan, is married to Trish and they have a daughter Blakely, and two sons Bennett & Rhett. Cole, our middle son, is married to Bailey and they have a daughter, Halle. Our youngest son, Spencer, is married to Jade and they have twins Dane & Nora and little sister Lena. They have all helped Sure Exposure become the store we are today.

Our daughter-in-law, Bailey, manages the store, and all of our sons’ and daughter-in-laws’ help us pick out the clothing and accessories that you continue to see and love at Sure Exposure! They also help us out around the store when we need them, so don’t be surprised if you see them around in our busier seasons. Our oldest granddaughter, Blakely, loves coming in to help out around the store and is our littlest employee-in-training!
